I approach therapy with warmth and understanding, tailoring my methods to fit your unique needs and aspirations. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques—such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and trauma-informed care—to ensure that our sessions are as effective as possible for you. I also recognize the importance of BIPOC representation in mental health, and I strive to offer a space that promotes comfort and helps reduce the stigma surrounding mental health services.
You deserve support on your journey to healing and growth, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
Hello! I’m Esther, and it’s a pleasure to have you here. Choosing to seek therapy is a courageous step that reflects your strength, and I would be honored to listen to your story. My goal is to cultivate a warm and supportive environment where you can feel completely comfortable being your true self. I genuinely believe that everyone possesses the ability to create meaningful change in their lives, and sometimes, we simply need a bit of guidance along the way.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience, I have devoted my career to supporting adults who are navigating difficult challenges such as severe & persistent mental illnesses, substance abuse recovery, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. I understand that these struggles can feel overwhelming, and I am here to provide a compassionate and understanding presence. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University. My journey has taken me through various clinical settings, including mental health outpatient programs, community-based mental health services, and nonprofit organizations, all of which have deepened my commitment to fostering healing and resilience in those I serve.
